WHAT HEAT PUMP TO CHOOSE?
INVERTER (AC POWER) or ON / OFF?
INVERTER HEAT PUMPS
It is a variable-output heat pump that automatically adjusts to the required heat demand. It is useful to build such heat pumps in dwellings from 150 m2, where there are rarely used rooms (e.g. guest rooms, children's 's study rooms, etc.). An example is a 220 m2 dwelling house, which actually uses only 140m2 of living space, kitchen, common areas, bedroom, other rooms with minimal heating. In this case, the heat pump will operate at half power or even lower with the optimum.
ON / OFF HEAT PUMPS
Their advantage is low cost and simplicity, fewer electronics. They must be constructed using a buffer tank which helps to reduce the number of starts and stops and to maintain a uniform temperature in the heating system. When selecting these pumps, you need to choose the most power possible to operate in the optimum mode.
It is practical to build them where all the premises are used up.
In general, the INVENTER PUMP is superior, but when properly selected, the ON / OFF heat pump will last long and properly, depending on the area to be heated.
